In Pau, a small town in the southern
border of France. My French classmate Alexia and I decided to visit the downtown
and discovered many interesting spaces. We aimed our camera at “the same space”
and intervened in the same space freely with our own bodies. Different cultural
backgrounds and characteristics we have generated different rhythms of our
works. Being both the same and different, this rhythm embodies the interaction
and collision between different cultures in the same space. In the final
presentation, we choose to present our “performance” video on two screens in
the same space.
