Walking Like A Ghost

走路像幽灵

Walking Like a Ghost/走路像幽灵
Installation, 2016, Wuhan

Some roadblocks that restrict our walking path and manners, such as the garden of forking paths, S-shaped flyovers,As a French, Lèo felt like a fish out of water walking in this manner. I built a bending and twisting “bridge” with the roadblocks which are commonly seen on the streets in Wuhan, and a river with bottle water. I placed this installation on the entrance of the exhibition hall, and people had to go across the “clean” and nonexistent dead “river” through the “bridge” made of roadblocks by me in order to see the exhibition.
